Navy And Raytheon Integrate JSOW On F-35C

The U.S. Navy and Raytheon [RTN] finished the final developmental test to integrate the Joint Standoff Weapon C (JSOW-C) onto the F-35C, the company said Tuesday.This test occurred on the Navy’s China Lake range in California earlier this year and was the last before the missile moves to operational testing. The JSOW-C is on track for full deployment to F-35Cs in 2019, Raytheon said.The JSOW is a Raytheon-built air-launched glide weapon that uses a GPS-inertial navigation system and imaging infrared…
