HAC-D Member Calvert Selected as New Ranking Member

Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) will be ranking member for the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee (HAC-D) for the 116th Congress, his office said Tuesday. Calvert has served in the House since 1993. He was previously a member of the HAC-D subcommittee, serving as vice chairman in the 115th Congress. In a statement, Calvert said he looks forward to working with the Defense Department on “new challenges in the areas of cyber, space, [artificial intelligence], and in maintaining our technological superiority.” He…
