Four-Ship Amphib Order Includes Incentives To Retain And Grow Labor Force

The Navy’s $9.47 billion award to HII’s [HII] Ingalls Shipbuilding this week for three Flight II San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ships and one America-class amphibious assault ship includes several incentives to help the company retain and grow its workforce, a Navy acquisition official said.
